x2 Programme Delivery Support internships
Kineara is a growing and innovative social enterprise based in Tower Hamlets, East London, working with vulnerable families with complex needs. We provide holistic support by delivering intensive one-to-one programmes to families in need of extra help through challenging times. We have several specialist programmes focused on delivering rent and housing support, educational support and community building programmes.
About the role
We are delighted to offer an internship opportunity for two students or graduates looking to gain experience working in social care, family support and community building to provide essential support for our programme delivery. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is quick to learn, has excellent interpersonal skills, is a solution-minded thinker and can work sensitively with people in vulnerable situations. It is also important to us that you have the competency to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
With us, you will gain hands-on experience working with families with complex needs and one-on-one supervision and training. We are a small and dedicated team, so you will be part of our family when you join us! It is an excellent opportunity to gain on –the-job skills and training with experienced practitioners in a busy and exciting role.
The essential skills we are looking for:
Highly personable and a good listener

An excellent communicator
Salary: Unpaid, travel expenses covered (within London)
Term: 3 months with the possibility of extension, starting second week of October
Hours: Part time (14 hours equivalent, precise days/times of work can be flexible and to be discussed with the director)
Location: In and around Tower Hamlets, East London
A full DBS check will be required.
